IKYA INITIATIVE IN ANCIENT HEALING SYSTEMS (IIAHS) was founded by Pujya Swamiji, Prof. Dr. A.V. Srinivasan, an expert in Marma Chikitsa, Philosopher and philitropist who believes ancient healing system as effective way to heal yourself naturally.

Ayurveda is a natural medicine, that originated in India with a history of more than 3000 years ago. Ayurveda is based on the idea that diseases are due to the imbalance or stress in a person’s consciousness. Hence Ayurveda encourages certain lifestyle interventions and natural therapies to regain balance between the body, mind, spirit, and environment.

Marma Therapy

Marmas are vital points in the body. Marma point is a junction where muscles, veins, ligaments, bones or joints meet. There are many marma points in the body. However, 107 important points are used in therapy. Marma Chikitsa increases the blood flow to the affected parts of the neuro-muscular system, thus stimulating the healing process. Marma Chikitsa improves immune function and the body heals from within. Marma therapy helps detoxification of the body and tones the muscles.
